Hello!
My name is Cristina.
I'm going to talk about Christmas.
Christmas is my favourite festival.
In Britain, people decorate the house with a Christmas tree and with Christmas
decorations, as snowflakes.
British people likes to send and receive Christmas cards, and they hang
the Christmas cards to decorate the house too.
Christmas songs, named carols, are very popular. Very often groups of people,
especially children, sing Christmas carols outside people's houses to collect
money for charity.
But presents are my favourite Christmas even. British people give presents
to the family and close friends. On Christmas Eve children prepare the
stockings on the bed because father Christmas comes at night to give presents
to all the children.
But, may be, Christmas lunch is the most popular even because all the family
are together to have the Chritmas lunch. Roast Turkey, roast patatoes,
vegetables, and don't forget the Christmas pudding! Because with the pudding
you can get good luck if you find the hidden coin in it. A delicious lunch
to celebrate Chritmas!
And, do you like crackers? I like crackers! You can see all the family
pulling the crackers by crossing arms with the person on either side. And
Pop!! The cracker is open. Put on the paper hat, eat the sweets and read
the joke
Well Chritmas time is exciting, especially for us, children, who are waiting
a hole
year to celebrate Chritmas again. |
